Bio-security is the protection of aquaculture economy, environment and fish health from pests
and diseases. It includes the prevention of new pests and diseases, and the eradication
or control of those already present.

At Cards Aquaculture, bio-security starts at the top with the policy makers and is adopted much like
a mission statement. We have empowered every employee in our service chain with the authority to
restrict access and report any possible breaches in our bio-security network. These priciples are
woven into our corporate structure through strict procedures and a zero tolerance enforcement policy.
Our service facilities can only be accessed through a series of specially designed secured entry
points. Every item received into our facilities for service must undergo a madatory disinfection
process before moving to any other department for service work. All personel and vehicle traffic
between the various service departments flow through controlled access bio-stations to ensure the
integrity of our bio-security system.
Constant monitoring and vigilant bio-security enforcement enable us to provide our customers with
environmentally responsible and healthy service solutions.
